Steering Legal collects certain Personal Data from Users of the Website for the purposes of recruitment and contact requests.

  • Management of the contact requests ;
  • Recruitment management.

Article 5. The place of treatment

Steering Legal processes all Personal Data of Users within the European Union.

In the event that certain Data may be transferred and stored outside the European Union by Steering Legal’s service providers, the firm undertakes to make every effort to ensure that these service providers adopt the relevant organisational and technical measures and to provide a framework for these transfers by means of appropriate legal tools, particularly if they are located in the United States. The User, informed of the existence of these transfers by the present Privacy Policy, accepts this cross-border processing.

 

Article 6. The duration of the retention of the Data

As the retention period is linked to the purposes of the Data processing and the legal obligations imposed on Steering Legal, Users’ Personal Data is not retained for longer than necessary.

Steering Legal undertakes to delete User information when it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected.

The retention period may be extended where required by law, for the purpose of litigation or to ensure the security of Steering Legal’s systems.

In this context, Steering Legal keeps the Personal Data for a period of:

  • 3 years from the date of the last contact for people who fill in the contact form;
  • 2 years from the last contact with the applicant for those filling in the recruitment form.

Steering Legal ensures the confidentiality of the Data collected and implements appropriate organisational and technical measures to ensure an adequate level of security to protect such Personal Data against unauthorised access, unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage.

 

Article 8. Users’ rights

In accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data, Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation of processing, portability of their Personal Data, and revocation of their consent at any time.
