With the development of a new economic order in the post-Covid era and the emergence of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, the culture and entertainment industry is entering a new era of development. This not only affects the development choices and business model of the culture and entertainment industry, but also poses new demands and challenges for the legal profession.
Against this backdrop, the theme of the Forum on the Rule of Law in Culture and Entertainment in China, organised by the Professional Committee on Foreign Legal Affairs of the Beijing Culture and Entertainment Law Society, is “New Technology, New Economy, New Entertainment, New Challenges”: Opportunities and Challenges for the Development of the Entertainment Industry and Entertainment Law”. The Forum will focus on the following main themes opportunities and challenges for the cultural industry and entertainment law in the new economy, cultural innovation in the age of artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence and copyright protection, through in-depth exchanges on these themes with experts and practitioners from the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, South Korea and other countries, as well as with industry and legal circles, to jointly explore development trends for the cultural industry and for the entertainment law sector in the context of the new economy, new technologies and new trends, and to analyse in depth the challenges and responses facing the industry.
